Stephen Don grew up in County Down, Northern Ireland. Having hardly traveled at all during his youth, Stephen was filled with a wanderlust that took him to far-flung corners of the globe such as Finland, France, Japan, Italy, and New Zealand. This period of his early manhood he mostly followed the profession of teacher, like his father before him. But he had been bitten by the acting bug at an early age, and in the mid-nineties he returned to London to undergo training in the profession he had always wanted to pursue. Success did not come overnight, but within three years of completing his training he was treading the boards in the West End. Returning to his native Northern Ireland in 2000, Stephen has worked hard to build up a solid resume as a character actor in film and television. In early 2008, he founded a film production company -Silver Sombrero Pictures Ltd -of which he is co-Director.
